Julie Cales
Hello, I am Julie Cales, and I have been in this business for 29 years. I love working with people. For those of you who are ready, I plan to bring you the best services a salon has to offer. I am licensed in hair, nails and massage therapy. I have many certificates in skin care therapy as well. I strongly believe in continuous education for all members of our team, by providing regular training in the latest updates in this industry.

Mack Cales
Hello, I'm Mack Cales. I am a hairstylist and image consultant at A Great Escape. I love making people look and feel better for a living. We are here to make your beauty needs possible and will have a wonderful time doing it. Hair cutting and color are my specialties.

Amber Jackson
My name is Amber Jackson. I am a cosmetologist at A Great Escape Spalon. I enjoy playing with all aspects of hair color especially the vivid and fun Inks. My inspiration can be found anywhere from my birds to shifts in nature. This industry is always changing to new styles and fashions and I love trying new Color techniques.

Backy Jackson
I am Becky Jackson. Amber, the color queen is my daughter. I am a cosmetologist and the assistant manager. I love working with the innovative staff here. I enjoy using the best quality products that the industry has to offer. One of my favorite things about our products is that they are not tested on animals. Hi, my name is Ashley Bishop, the manager and nail technician. I am a graduate of Longwood University. I have worked for Julie for the last seven years. The growth of the Spalon has been amazing to me. I am excited to see just how far we will go in the industry.

Amena Sims
Hello, my name is Amena Sims. I am a cosmetologist at A Great Escape. Ever since I was a little girl this profession has been my passion. When I am not at work I can be found singing anywhere I can. I love the art of doing hair and waxing. Making my clients look their best is important to me and I look forward to furthering my education in cosmetology to explore more talents i have yet to come.

Leslie Watson
My name is Leslie Watson and I have been a receptionist here at AGES since August 2008. I enjoy working in the beauty industry and being around anything that involves creativity. I am also a full time student at Old Dominion University. I love seeing returning clients and meeting new ones!

Hi, my name is Sarah Cave. I have been working as a receptionist at AGES since January 2011. I love being immeresed in all things beautiful and creative, which are both qualities that can be found at AGES. I am also a full-time student at longwood university.

Hi, I'm Heather Dowdy, an apprentice at AGES. I'm originally from Washington D.C. area and have always been surrounded by the arts and fashion. Working here at AGES is perfect for expressing creativity through color and edgey cuts! I'm very interested in editorial hair and behind the scenes Paul Mitchell. My name is Tasha Davis of Hampden Sydney, VA. I am a 2010 graduate from Miller Motte Technical College of Lynchburg, VA; with a AOS in Massage Therapy. Working at ages helps me better myself and others.

Latrice Tucker
Hi, my name is Latrice. I'm a stylist here at AGES. I do a little bit of everything, but I specialize in weft extentions, braids, quick-weaves, and twists. In my spare time I like to read and sing. Come in and let me create the new you!

Callie Elliot
Hi, my name is Callie Elliot, I am an apprentice at the Great Escape Spalon. I love being at the Spalon--it's awesome! I love all the training that we do as I enjoy the challenge and I can't wait to become a hairstylist. Since joining the team, everyone has made me feel welcome and I have had so much support. I have felt my confidence grow and I do feel like a member of a great team.

Glenda Miller
Hi, my name is Glenda and I work as an apprentice at AGES. I'm currently enrolled at SVCC learning all I can about cosmetology and then applying that knowledge to my clients.
